A cosy family home ideally situated in the Old Kom, 5-minute walk from the beach, the Kom, local shops, coffee spots and restaurants. We offer a whole house with large, private, light-filled bedrooms en suite bathrooms and a Weber barbecue for warm evening get-togethers where you can hear the waves and birds. We don’t have a television or DSTV, but you can stay connected with high-speed internet. 2 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, 1 guest bathroom, a study or optional third bedroom, an open-plan kitchen,
lounge and dining room. Indoor fireplace and outdoor braai area with wrap-around patio and lovely garden.

About the location

Kommetjie (small basin) is a small town within 45 minutes drive from the city of  Cape Town and is an area which has become popular with young families because of its safety, surf and sociality. The area is a popular spot for surfing, windsurfing, snorkelling and cycling. It boasts a number of excellent coffee shops, restaurants and convenience stores and also an operational lighthouse which stands about 33 meters tall, is situated on the beach. Kommetjie is close to the famous Cape Point nature reserve home to penguins, antelope and baboon troops as well as extraordinary beaches and tidal pools.
