We are on the ground floor. We have an open patio on the front of the condo and a small screened porch. Inside we have a large master which looks onto the center of the complex....a garden area of grass, live oaks, retention ponds, ducks, birds and two owls...
a laundry room, an office area with TV, computer and printer,( which looks out on the front patio)...a open living dining area along which runs a screened in porch with views of the interior of the property, and of course the kitchen with all appliances.
Our home comes with two amazing cats...very friendly and we do have good friends who would be able to assist with any issues..short term care if you wanted to take side trips!

About the location

We are situated in a grove of live oaks, with two retention ponds that are homes to ducks, turtles, and otters. We have a community pool with gazebo. There are 72 units in the complex. It is a five minute walk to the Atlantic ocean, and we have a beautiful, uncrowded beach.
We are two and a half hours from Miami, and one and a half from Orlando/Disneyworld. Both cities contain major airports, as do Ft. Lauderdale, Palm Beach and Melbourne.
We are a five minute drive from more than 20 fine restaurants located in Center Beach, here on the barrier island (Orchid Island) and ten minutes from the restaurants in South Beach. There is plenty of night life for those who want it..microbrewery, concerts in the parks, art on the beach, farmers market on Saturdays, Riverside Theater, Riverside Park, and the Vero Beach Museum of Art. You can walk, bike, or drive wherever you want to go.
Once you cross the bridges you have grocery stores, fine markets, clothing stores, movie theatres, McKee Botanical Gardens and MORE excellent restaurants!
There are many places of interest close by...the Navy Seal Museum, Sebastian Inlet (famous for it's surfing), Kennedy Space Center...there is no way one could see everything in one month!
