Silverton Home

Our home is approximately 8 years old. We just bought it in January, so we are still putting the finishing touches on it. It is one level, with 3 bedrooms (king, queen and a full size sleeper sofa). There is a TV with a dvd player, a washer and dryer and full kitchen. We have a fenced in yard. This is a second home for us, so the exchange does not have to be simultaneous.

About the location

Silverton is a small city, with a population of 10,000. The surrounding area is beautiful: parks, rivers and wonderful scenery. Portland is about a one hour drive. Salem, the state capitol, is a 20 minute drive. There is kayaking close by. A park with amazing waterfalls is 20 minutes away. One of our sons and his wife owns a farm close by, with an assortment of animals and gardens, which you are welcome to visit.
