Our Home

Our home is now 11 years old, has 4 bedrooms, and two bathrooms and is located within the Resort Facility of Timbers Edge in Dawesville. Our home has two main separate living areas and 2 outdoor patio areas. The main living area consists of an open-plan family sitting area (two recliner rockers and a 2-1/2 recliner sofa), a dining table and chairs and the modern kitchen. At the front of the house we have our "library/quiet room with 2 more recliner rockers and an easy chair. Both bedrooms have Queen sized beds, the master having the en-suite and toilet. The main bathroom, with bath and shower is next to the guest bedroom. At the rear of the house the 3rd bedroom has been made into our study. The other small bedroom has been made into our hobby room.
Our car a Holden Equinox (manual gearbox and sold in the US as a Chevrolet Equinox) SUV is included in the exchange package.

About the location

Dawesville is 17Km south of the centre of Mandurah. Mandurah itself is 60Km from the Perth CBD, and a fast electric train service will get you to Perth in 50 minutes, with trains running every 15 minutes during the day.
The resort facility boasts 2 swimming pools, one indoor, one outdoor, a spa, a gym and steam room, a community facility with BBQ`s, library, games room, an undercover bowling facility and communal gardens. An induction is required to use these communal facilities, but that can be arranged ready for your arrival.
We are 10 minutes from the Indian Ocean beaches and 5 minutes from the Harvey and Peel Estuary beaches and picnic areas. The Margaret River winery region is less than 2 hours away.
