Lovely 2 Bed home in Granada, SPAIN

This city apartment is located in the charming, white-washed old Moorish quarter of the Albaicin, in Granada. Our comfortable apartment is in a quiet 14th Century street with no traffic access, a couple of streets below the Mirador de San Nicolas, one of the most famous viewpoints of the Alhambra Palace and gardens. You can access the apartment by walking down a couple of sets of steps and then some sloping, cobbled streets.

Our large communal terrace has the same wonderful view of the Alhambra, stretching to the hills of Sacromonte and the Sierra Nevada mountains. The 2-bedroom apartment itself is well furnished and equipped with a modern kitchen (dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, washing machine). Both bedrooms are double, the smaller one accessed from the living area. The apartment has beamed ceilings and terracotta tiled floors and is full of colour and original artworks. There is a hi-fi, DVD and colour TV.

The Albaicin has bars, lots of great tapas bars and restaurants, supermarkets, daily fruit & vegetable market, chemist, cash machines, 10 mins' walk up from the apartment, and walking down, in 15 minutes you are in the Plaza Nueva, the main central square of Granada. If you tire of walking you can catch the micro bus, which runs around the centre and Albaicin in a loop, and stops just above our apartment. You can also catch this bus directly to the Alhambra.

The apartment contains lots of maps and tourist information on where to eat, shop, taking a Moorish bath in the Hammam, how to get Alhambra tickets, where to see flamenco and more.

We can also help organise your ski-ing plans for the Sierra Nevada which is an hour away. Local beaches are also an hour's drive, as are the beautiful Renaissance towns of Ubeda and Baeza.
