Market towns of Burton, Lichfield with its spectacular cathedtral, Tutbury castle less than 20 mins away. 1 hr takes you to Birmingham, Stoke with its potteries, Sherwood Forest the home of Robin Hood, Chatsworth House and Shrugborough Hall, not to forget Alton Towers, arguably the best theme park in the country. The beautiful peak district with Dovedale again only 30 minutes. Golfers have the famous Belfry. A two hour train journey takes you to London or the Dales.
