Lovely 3 Bed home in Glenlivet Estate, Scotland

Carrickstane is my comfortable and cheerful holiday home situated at the edge of the Cairngorm mountain range, at the foot of the Cromdales. The fabulous salmon river Avon (pronounced A'an)is situated right opposite our gate and one of the many lovely Glenlivet Estate walks starts at the end of the garden.

This is an area of outstanding natural beauty ideal for visitors who enjoy walking, hiking, biking, ski-ing, bird watching and enjoying a wide variety of wildlife. Although off the beaten track the place is not remote and there is a fabulous range of places to visit and things to do locally - and of course the Whisky trail (the Glenlivet and Tomintoul distilleries are nearby). The outstanding Moray coastline is about an hour's drive away, Inverness and Aberdeen about 1 1/2 hours drive.
