Lovely 2 Bed home in Dalbeattie, Scotland

Our home is a traditional granite built C19th cottage with two double bedrooms, cosy living room with wood burning stove (though we do also have gas powered central heating which is very efficient),dining room, study, bathroom with bath and shower.

The house is on a private lane without any through traffic – at the end of the lane there are woods, which are wonderful for walking, spotting red squirrels or cycling if you are feeling energetic. We also have a large, private garden in which to relax; car exchange could be arranged.

In our area there are plenty of opportunities for walking, golfing, fishing and cycling. Kirkcudbright – known as ‘artist town’ - is a scenic thirty minutes’ drive. The market town of Castle Douglas is also close by and is very good for shopping for food, clothes, antiques, crafts and bric a brac. Glasgow and Edinburgh are within striking distance and we are also convenient for northern England – Yorkshire, Northumbria and the Lake District.
