Central townhouse - Washington DC

We are willing to exchange to any destination in the world. We are particularly interested in long exchanges to Europe, Asia and Australia (1-3 months). We are open to trade our guest house in the center of Washington, DC at any time the visitors find convenient.

The house is located one mile from the US Capitol, National Mall (i.e. Smithsonian museums), and 1 1/2 miles from the White House. It is located near four bus routes and three blocks from a Metro Station. The house, built in 1870, has a combined living/dining room, full kitchen, two bedrooms, one and one-half baths, laundry room, and a patio in the back garden. We would prefer to be at home when you arrive. We live in a separate house five blocks from our guest house, which means you will have full privacy.

About the location

Our guest is one of approximately 3,500 remaining Victorian town houses in Washington. It is located on a residential street with simple neighborhood restaurants within a short walk. Chinatown is a 15-minute walk away. We are located on four bus routes and the subway station is a 5-minute walk away. A car is a major inconvenience in this neighborhood. One can walk to two grocery stores in 10 minutes.
