Great local cuisine - nationally famous restaurants and gastro pubs. Our daughter, Sophie, and her husband Michael have the Blacksmiths Arms pub 10 minutes away in the Lickle Valley - one of the oldest pubs in the Lakes with a huge reputation for its food and beer.

All this only 2 hours away from great Northern cities of Liverpool and Manchester.
