Bedroom 1: double bed; Bedroom 2: 2 single beds. Each has large wardrobe, bedside tables & lights, ceiling fan & balcony.

Bathroom - Well located bathroom with bath, shower, bidet, & all with spectacular views of the bay & distant hills

Kitchen - New kitchen w. large table & seating for 4.

Living room - Spacious living room, large sofa. Double doors open onto large balcony & look out towards the sunset over the Med-great for late afternoon & evening sun.

About the location

Bella Vista is less than 5 minutes walk to Bosa’s deep and long sandy beach, with watersports, bars, restaurants & gelataria. The sheltered, shallow bay offers calm & warm bathing, & contributes to make Bosa a perfect destination for all ages. Bosa old town is a short ride on the shuttle ‘train’ or 25 minutes walk along the palm fringed river.
A superb location with extensive balconies - main bedroom with its own private balcony, second room with long balcony that passes around the outside of the apartment, connecting to the living room & kitchen.

Street cafes, bars, a variety of restaurants, gelateria (ice cream parlours) and pizzareria just a few minutes walk away, and there is an internet cafe directly opposite the apartment, which is open late and is very cheap.

Local cycle, boat hire, fishing & scuba diving trips are available a minute’s walk from the property, and one can fish from the nearby harbour wall and in the river estuary. A charming little station, a minute away, offers trips in a little old narrow-guage train, via a coastal scenic route, then up into the spectacular hills, past prehistoric castles, to the quaint medieval market town of Macomer.

The amazing medieval Catalan town of Alghero can be easily visited for day trips - less than 1 hour's drive or take the aircon bus from Bosa. Visit the awe inspiring 'Neptune's Grotto' sea caves by foot or boat. Also fishing, diving & even submarine trips!

Travel: Alghero (Fertilia) airport is under one hour's drive on a stunning coast road, or via an equally stunning drive through the inland hills. Or fly to Olbia - to Alghero is about 125km by the most efficient route, so about 2 hours - and quite an easy drive on the Sardinian Autostrada. From Alghero to Bosa is under an hour. Car hire usually costs under E30 per day if booked in advance, online – check with us for our recommendations for the cheapest companies. There are also taxis and comfortable buses that serve Bosa, though you may need to change bus in Alghero town. We can provide further info on these. Cycling is popular, though the coast road may be quite busy in summer – the inland road, north through the mountains, is far quieter, and equally spectacular.

Distances: Bosa historic old town is a short 3km ride on the shuttle ‘train’ or 30 minutes walk along the palm fringed banks of the River Temo - takes you to the heart of medieval Bosa old town, with its traditional restaurants bars, craft shops, banks and other services.

Alghero old town, with its restaurants, bars and clubs, is under an hour’s drive away, so can be visited for a day or evening out. Boat trips through the awe inspiring ‘Grotte di Neptuno’ sea caves are available from there or nearby.

Accessibility: The apartment is on the third floor and there's no lift, only stairs. Car parking is usually available in the small cul-de-sac just to the back of the apartment building. In high summer one may find it necessary to park about 30 or 40 metres further down the little back road in a large parking area. To date, the parking in Bosa Marina has remained free.

The walk to the beach is down the lane, on the path over the little railway track, across the beach road (Viale Mediterraneo) and you are there. Or sometimes we walk along the quayside and through Buena Vista or one of the other beach bars. Either way it's just a few minutes stroll.
