Spacious, family-friendly modern detached house with private south-facing garden situated on quiet cul-de-sac. Lovely views across the valley and fells, quick access to countryside but only a 15 minute walk to the town centre. Downstairs is a large kitchen diner and utility room, a spacious sitting room and a smaller sunny sitting room with patio doors opening onto the garden, and a cloakroom. There is a double sofa bed in the larger sitting room which can sleep additional guests. Upstairs are two double bedrooms (one en suite), a small single bedroom, an office and another bathroom. There is parking on the drive or outside the house.

Kendal is a picturesque market town with regular festivals and great facilities for visitors - shops, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, galleries, museums and the superb Brewery Arts Centre with theatre, cinema, live music, comedy, bars and food. Kendal is known as the `Gateway to the Lakes`, as it is on the doorstep of the Lake District, England`s largest National Park with stunning lakes, mountains and a wealth of tourist attractions. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is also a short drive away, as is Lancashire`s quiet Forest of Bowland and the unspoilt Eden Valley in Eastern Cumbria.
An ideal base for families, walkers, climbers, and nature lovers. Mountain bikes, boats, fishing equipment can be hired locally.
