Home is an C18th town house in the historic ancient fortified town of Briancon situated in the southern French alps. The town is part of Serre Chevalier, one of the largest ski areas in France, as well as being a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The house has three large bedrooms; two of which have en suite shower rooms, the other has an adjoining bathroom. The ground floor has an open plan kitchen & sitting room, complete with a traditional sleigh bed! The house is full of rustic charm, with lots of larch beams & parquet floors covered with kelims.
This is a great base for all mountain activities, from kayaking/rafting, through to hiking, cycling and of course skiing. There are also lots of restaurants within walking distance!
