Lovely 3 Bed home in Kefalas (near Chania), Greece

Our villa is situated in a traditional Cretan village on a hillside with panoramic unrestricted views of the Aegean sea and views of the White Mountains, Crete's highest mountain range which is easily accesable from the villa and offers a chance to see authentic Greek life. Kefalas is a beautiful village with two small supermarkets and several good kafenions and restaurants. The small resorts of Almirida, Kalives and Georgeopolis are all within 15-20mins drive and are perfect places to relax and enjoy beach life. The stunning city of Chania with its Venetian harbour and the historic town of Rethymnon are both within 45mins.

There are beautiful walks right from the door and Kefalas is described in the Rough Guide to Crete as absurdly beautiful. Altough Kefalas is quiet and peaceful there is plenty to do within the vicinity including visits to some of Europe's best archeological sites.

For those who want a few days to chill out we have a pool with great views. The rest of Crete can be explored and nowhere is too far afield for a visit. If your stay is extended it would also be possible to take a trip to Athens or the atmospheric volcanic island of Santorini for a few days.

Our home is well eqipped with LCD satellite tv, DVD player, integrated dishwasher, microwave oven and air conditioning for hotter days.
