Lovely 2 Bed home in Ryde, England

Attractive modern apartment in Ryde, Isle of Wight. Spacious lounge, en-suite double bed-room and a separate bath-room. Although we have two bedrooms, the second bedroom is used as a study and the apartment will therefore only suit a couple.

Both the lounge and the bed room have balconies with lovely views overlooking a lake (with swans, mallards, canada geese and the occasional interesting visitor). The rooms also look out across the beach and the Solent. We enjoy watching all the activity on the water including daily passage of cruise ships, and yachting etc.

Close by are indoor swimming pool and pleasant beach side cafes.

The Isle of Wight is a lovely island and its chief industry is tourism. As such there are many places to visit ranging from Queen Victoria's Osborne House to glass blowing studios. The Island is also a rambler's paradise. It has a walking festival in May attracting people from all over the world.

Notwithstanding the pull of the Island to remain there, you may wish to hop on to the Hovercraft, which is a five minute walk away, and visit the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth.
