Norwood Cottages

The property is a four-hundred year old thatched cottage which retains its cosy character - lots of beams and 2 fireplaces with cast iron stoves. The garden is particularly delightful in summer with space to barbeque, relax and play. The cottage offers comfort and modern facilities. The hall with its inglenook fireplace and wood-burner is cosy in winter as is the living room. The garden room is ideal for daytime relaxation and more formal eating. the kitchen is where we enjoy most of our family meals. There are two staircases, one to the master bedroom with its own bathroom and dressing area, the other from the kitchen to two further bedrooms which use the downstairs shower room. We have a car and if appropriate are happy to arrange insurance for you to use it.

About the location

Cheltenham is the gateway to the Cotswolds, a lovely town with excellent shops, restaurants and a lively cultural scene including several international festivals (Literature, Music, Jazz, Science) as well as the famous Cheltenham Gold Cup Horse Racing Festival. There are beautiful places to visit; Cotswold villages such as Broadway and Bourton on the Water (30 minutes drive) as well as historic places and cities; Bristol, Bath, Stratford, Oxford and Wales can be reached in 1 to 1.5 hours. London is less than 2.5 hours away using excellent road and rail links.
