Stone cottage in the peaceful ecological hamlet of Upacchi, a small community of Italian, German, English families, on the hills around Anghiari, one of the most beautiful towns in Tuscany.

The property is perfect for two people, but it can have one more guest in case of need (there is a sofa bed). Central heating, barbecue; safe outdoor parking (20 mt.)

Nearest facilities, shops, restaurants, etc., in Anghiari (7 km., 10 min. by car).
No internet in the house, no TV set.

About the location

Situated in the Upper Tiber valley, the village is quite secluded, but at the same time many beautiful destinations and art towns can be easily reached from there. Sansepolcro (20 min. by car) is the main centre and the town where Piero della Francesca was born, and where some of his masterworks can be seen in the Civic Museum (among them the newly restored Resurrection). In Sansepolcro you can also find other museums, a swimming-pool, horseriding, tennis, shopping, many good restaurants and big supermarkets.

Palio della Balestra is a crossbow challenge held in this town on the second Sunday of September, a month rich of events in Valtiberina.

Just a few km to Umbria, Città di Castello, Montone, Assisi, Gubbio, Perugia.
Arezzo is at 45 min. distance by car, Florence and Urbino an hour and a half.

A car is absolutely needed.
