Gorgeous 17th century cottage - beautiful Cotswold village

Our home is an 17th century cottage in a beautiful Cotswold village of Box. We have a spacious lounge with a log-burner, a kitchen-diner, 3 bed-rooms on the first floor and a converted loft with double bed and en-suite bathroom. There's a patio and terraced, 100ft garden out the back with plenty of lawn and a large trampoline. Parking is available in the adjacent village hall car-park. We have wifi, television and DVD player, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave.

About the location

Our cottage is a stones throw away from Minchinhampton Common, a beautiful, 182 hectare Site of Special Scientific Interest owned by the National Trust. We are situated in a quintessential Cotswold village called Box, a few miles away from the ancient market town of Minchinhampton. Also on our doorstep is the lively and artistic town of Nailsworth, with a small supermarket, a range of great cafes and restaurants, and boutique shops.

We have an abundance of fantastic walks right from the cottage, many of which have great pubs and cafes on route! Larger towns of Cirencester and Tetbury are just 15 minutes away by car and well worth a visit; Cheltenham, Bristol and Bath are all forty minutes away; and Gatcombe manor, home to Gatcombe horse trials, is just 10 minutes away.
