Monnières is situated in heart of vineyards of the famous 'Muscadet', 6 km from Clisson, a beautiful medieval city, 45 min from the Atlantic Ocean and 20 min from the beautiful city of Nantes. The Nantes vineyard trail will take you through captivating countryside with gentle slopes striped with vines, its great church bells and its waterways; Loire, Sèvre, Maine, Lac de Grandlieu. In under an hour you can go bathing in Pornic or La Baule, or escape from it all; head for Belle-île. The diversity of the scenery around Nantes is exceptional. Côte d'Amour, Côte de Jade, or Côte Sauvage, the Atlantic coast will take you on unforgettable journeys. The 40km long Loire Estuary is criss-crossed by horses, sprinkled with islands and edged by marshes, a haven for bird watchers, fishing enthusiasts and walkers.
