Lewes is the county town of East Sussex. it teems with history. A castle, beautiful old buildings and a vibrant community with regular vegetable and plant markets. There are at least 12 pubs in the town and many attractive ones in the surrounding countryside. Though urban it is only a small town and within walking distance of beautiful countryside and the Downs.
