Lovely 3 Bed home in Southampton, England
We live in a detached 1890s house in a suburb of Southampton that is 1 minute's walk to a lovely big park with a river, a tennis court and a mini-golf. Bitterne Park is 15 min car ride to the city centre. By car or by train there is lots to see and do: beaches and sea-side at Bournemouth and Brighton, historic cathedrals and old-towns at Winchester and Salisbury, Portsmouth and it's historic dockyard, Stonehenge, the New Forest with it's wild ponies and the Isle of Wight is directly opposite Southampton. Also possible for a day trip are London (about 1.5 hours train ride away), Oxford (1.5 hours by car), Bath (fantastic Roman centre to visit) and Bristol (a really interesting city for architecture and history). We have parking.
