Our protected home is only a short walk to the stunning coastline or 15 minute walk to the fishing town of Bandon. It is a 45 minutes drive south from North Bend (OTH) municipal airport with connections to Portland International ( PDX) and 10 minutes from the world famous Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. .

About the location

Bandon is a quiet, family-friendly fishing port and beach town of 2500 people that has been a long time vacation favorite for Oregonians and north California visitors. The area is characterized as "the banana belt" of this coastline because of its warmer climate, incredible public access beach scape, its rock outcroppings, amazing sunsets, miles of sandy beaches, tide pools and dunes formations. It is a favorite location to observe bird and whale migrations and by photographers and walkers alike. There is an active local arts and crafts industry, art galleries, farmers market and hiking and biking trails. The local restaurants offer exceptional sea food choices, family dining , fresh crab off the dock and of course, fish and chips and other seaside favorites.
Bandon Dunes Golf Resort is only 10 minutes drive away, for those who want to sample the best genuine ocean-side links golf in the USA .
