We have a lovely, semi-detached cottage in semi-rural Clapham, 3 miles North of Bedford. We are surrounded by delightful countryside and enjoy several traditional English pubs here and in the nearby country villages Bromham and Bolnhurst. There is horseriding and excellent golf facilities very nearby.
Bedford is 5 mins in the car for shopping and the River Great Ouse is popular for rowing. There is a lot to do here with young children including Thurleigh Farm and Adventure Park; several indoor kidsplay areas; Wrest Park; NT properties including Wimpole Farm Estate and Woburn Safari Park. Cambridge is 40 minutes away in the car. There is great access to London - train takes 37 minutes to St Pancras and Bedford station is 2 miles away.
