Lovely 3 Bed home in Hertford, England
Our house is a 100 year old semi-detached cottage in an ancient market town. Last year we extended at the back and now have a lovely new kitchen diner on the ground floor and a laundry area in the cellar. We have lovely views onto our cottage garden. Two of the bedrooms have mezzanine floors for sleeping so a very young person or elderly person might find this difficult but we can always bring the bed into the main part of the room.
Hertford has 2 mainline stations and you can get to London and Cambridge very easily(40 mins). There is a local theatre (10 mins walk )in town where plays and films are regularly shown and there are many shops and restaurants. There is also a swimming baths and an extensive area of pasture land which is lovely for walks.
