Lovely 1 Bed home in Santa Barbara, USA

My 2 level condo is located in a residential area of Santa Barbara, California, 5 minutes from the Pacific Ocean. The sun is present in Santa Barbara almost every day. I eat out on our private patio, sometimes two meals a day. My place is relatively close to highways 101 and 154 which lead to San Diego, Los Angeles, Ventura, Montecito, in the South and to Hope Ranch, Big Sur, Monterey, Carmel and San Francisco to the North, as well as to numerous lovely smaller towns like Los Olivos, Solvang, San Luis Obispo and Santa Ynez Valley area, with a multitude of wineries and excellent food all over the places and the famous Old Missions, UCSB university and Santa Barbara City College known for its adult education programs. Channel Islands National Park is close by, Whale Watching trips, as well as boat tours to at least 4 historically beautiful islands, are available most of the year.

Our condo is 5 minutes from the Ocean, downtown Santa Barbara and the beach/ walkways along the peer and numerous shopping areas where local artists exhibit their homemade works. Local buses can take people everywhere for little money. Special tourist bus tours are available downtown. Santa Barbara maintained its Spanish looking architectural heritage.

The master bedroom, with double bed is adjacent to a full bathroom upstairs, and on the main floor are the living room where one (possibly two people) can sleep on sofa beds, a dining and kitchen areas plus washer/ dryer and a 1/2 bathroom. There is a private patio outside in front and nice peaceful greenish natural trees both in the front and back.

Would like to exchange for a place in Montreal, Quebec, for this July and August 2013, if any of these times work for you. I might be traveling by myself or with 1-2 adult(s), I am a published writer, a bilingual mature woman of French and German origins.

I will need an internet connection with Wifi capability.
