North Ronaldsay has the UK's tallest land-based lighthouse, two cafes, a golf course, lovely walks and abundance of wildlife. North Ronaldsay made world-wide news in March when a walrus came ashore. Travel to the island is by plane or boat. The 8 seater Loganair Islander plane from Kirkwall takes 15 minutes.
