We have a spacious five bedroom colonial-style house on a half acre plot situated on a quiet, pretty street. The ground level has a large eat-in kitchen, a sitting room with wood burning fireplace and piano, a seperate dining room and a four season sun room. There is also a toilet with washer/drier on this level. Upstairs there is a recently updated (2012) master suite with generous walk-in closet and shower room. There are four additional bedrooms (two with double bed, one room with two single beds, and a single room) and a small, but functional family bathroom. The basement has a large area used as a playroom complete with xbox 360 and wii, and plenty of toys! The house has central air conditioning. Outside we have a spacious deck with table and chairs and charcoal grill, a 15foot trampoline and climbing frame. An attached garage provides parking and contains many children's bikes and beach chairs etc.

Fairfield is a quaint New England town complete with modern amenities such as shopping, restaurants, cinemas. The town is situated on Long Island Sound and has five public beaches to choose from just a 10 minute drive from the house. New York City is only an hour away by train and is easy to visit for a day out. Connecticut and the surrounding area also has many beautiful parks to explore.
