Our home is a generously sized one bedroom apartment in a (circa 1929) block of seventeen.
Lavender Bay/McMahons point is often described as having a "village" atmosphere but is very close to the centre of the city.
From one end of our apartment complex it takes under a minute to reach Blues Point Road where you will find plenty of great restaurants, cafes and bars along with grocery shops, a post office, a florist and an independent bookshop.
Exit the eastern end of the building you will find yourself in a delightful park right by the harbour.
North Sydney station is a short walk away with services running every few minutes. Our local ferry wharf has regular services to the City, Balmain and Darling Harbour.
