River front custom built wooden house on 1.5 acres, in rural Smithers. Vaulted ceilings, wooden floors, and open plan kitchen, living, dining/play space. Car port and garage/shop, vegetable gardens and fruit trees, Steelhead fishing 10 min walk away. We heat by wood stove with electric back-up. Snow is usually on the ground from November to April!
We are situated 7min drive, 30 min bike ride from the town of Smithers, a diverse and prospering mountain town. Close by are stunning provincial parks, with great trail systems for winter skiing, and snow shoeing, and summer canoeing, hiking, and mountain biking etc...
We see moose, black bear, deer, salamanders, bald eagle, ospreys and many song birds in the garden.
