Santa Lucia is a classic spacious, high-ceilinged Umbrian brick and stone farmhouse on a farming estate with two swimming pools, two tennis courts and a football pitch. The house is full of books and paintings, with a painter's eye for colour. It has a huge sociable living room, with dining, great kitchen and sitting areas. My study and my husband's studio are also in the converted cantina, and all the ground floor rooms have double doors to the garden. Upstairs there are five bedrooms - 2 doubles, 2 twins, and one small double, large single - three with en suite bath/shower rooms, and one general bath/shower room. The house comes complete with a large, gentle dog, Laika, three cats, Gilbert, George and Rita, and six chickens.
