My restored stone cottage has wonderful shady courtyard & all modern facilities necessary for a comfortable local experience.
It is situated in Selcuk, the small town 10 minutes from the ancient ruins of Ephesus 1 hour from Izmir airport on the west coast of Turkey. The ruins of St Jean's Basilica are at the end of my street & the bus station is just 5mins away.
Buses run to many destinations from here including Kusadasi 20mins, Bodrum 3hrs, Pammukkale 3hrs etc.
The cottage in 5mins walk from local cafes, banks, post office & town centre . Selcuk has a local fruit & vegetable market on saturdays & is a perfect base for many places of historical interest, natural beauty & situated just 15mins from a long sandy beach on the Aegean.
