It is on the outskirts of the quiet traditional greek village Fterno which has 2 tavernas within walking distance and a cafe. Being 400m above sea level the house is secluded and gives a feeling of tranquility and being on top of the world.

Nidri and Vassiliki are within 15 minuites drive and both offer a wide choice of tavernas/cafes/shops.
Lefkada is renowned for its beautiful beaches and clear blue seas. It is also ideal for walkers.
The local airport is Preveza (PVK) which is 50 minutes away. Flights from the UK are mostly on Sunday but there are midweek flights which are generally cheaper. Airlines are Monarch, Thomson, Thomas Cook, Small Planet & Easyjet.
