English village of Chatton
The village of Chatton ( approx 400 residents ) is located in rural North Northumberland. The town of Wooler, which is on the Eastern edge of the Cheviot range, is 5 miles west of Chatton.
The village of Bamburgh, with its imposing castle and glorious beaches is 10 miles East of Chatton.
Holy Island / Lindisfarne is 18 miles away. Chatton is equidistant ( 15 miles ) from the historic towns of Alnwick and Berwick. Edinburgh is 80 miles by road, and very easy to reach by rail from Berwick on the East Coast main line.
The house is modern, 2002 build, faced in local stone and sits in a large garden with uninterrupted views to the local hills and The Cheviots in the farther distance. There is a good local pub approx 400 yards away.
