Lovely 1 Bed home in Bordeaux, France

Bright and spacious flat with two terraces and great view.

Located right in the old town neighborhood of Bordeaux, my flat is the perfect location to discover this Unesco world heritage city and explore the world-famous wine region.

The flat is very contemporary, and very bright, full of light with an open outlook and beautiful view on the roofs of the old town. The main living room opens on a first terrace where you can relax and enjoy a glass of wine after a day in the St Emilion chateaux. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, and a dish washer. Large dock for Ipad/iPhone and CD.

The very large master bedroom is relaxing, equipped with plasma screen and plenty of storage space during your stay. Close to the room is the spacious bathroom with washing machine and a separate toilet. All linens and towels are provided.

On the other side of the appartment is a good size room I use for my office, with a second shower room and a second terrace overlook St Michel Cathedral, the tallest bell tower of southern Europe. You can therefore use my desk, printer and wifi to also work. For a long-term exchange, I could convert this room in a bedroom as it has already the shower room.

One other room will be blocked during your stay, as I keep personal things inside.

The flat is located on 3rd floor (4th floor for US norms), without lift! Yes, it is sometimes tiring but very worth it when you arrive in the apartment, and all the grocery stores deliver for free, so except on you arrival, I would say the stairs are not so difficult.
Neighborhood is very lively, full of restaurants; you can basically walk everywhere, as everything is so close, otherwise you have the tramway just steps away.

I can include the garage and even my car in the exchange, if you are not reluctant to drive an old GTI rabbit with manual transmission.

All the most famous wines are from Bordeaux region: St Emilion, M?doc, Margaux, Pauillac, Sauternes....One hour drive is also the ocean, with fancy Arcachon, Cap Ferret or Lacanau.
