Our 18th century house is situated on the picturesque green, of a quiet village close to Darlington and Durham. We are 10 minutes away from the A1M and there are good rail links to London and Edinburgh from Darlington.
Our house has been well modernised, is free of clutter and has character. There are 2 comfortable lounges and a separate dining room and the kitchen, at the heart of the house, is well equipped. The south facing rear garden is delightful and private.
There are 2 good pubs in the village serving food and a local shop for last minute items and a daily paper. Nearby is Durham City (25 mins), a world heritage site, Newcastle (50 mins) with plenty of Geordie character and the beauty of The Yorkshire Dales (45 mins)
