Bonnet Hill is nestled between Mt Wellington, the Derwent River Estuary, the state capital Hobart & the suburb of Kingston.
In 2002 we built our home on a 3/4 acre block which, while surrounded by native bush, is still very close to all of the facilities of the city. This comfortable home is well heated and easily caters for our family of 5.
We share the garden with a range of native animals.
A 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk takes you to Kingston Beach which offers safe swimming and the best of the Aussie lifestyle in up to 15 hours/day of summer warmth and sunshine.
Easy 1-3 day trips will allow you to easily explore this beautiful island state which, while comparable in size to Scotland, is home to only 500,000 people.
