Traditional 1930's semi detached house in the historic City of York. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac next to York's racecourse and within walking distance of the City walls and historic City centre. Inside our house has been modernised with a spacious family kitchen/dining room. We have lots of toys and games for kids.

About the location

York is a historic City and is great for kids with many attractions including: York Art Gallery, the National Railway Museum, Jorvik Viking Museum, Yorkshire Museum (Roman exhibits), York Museum with a recreated Victorian street, Dig Archaeology Museum, the Barley Hall Museum a medieval hall. You can walk round the City walls, take a boat trip, visit 'The Shambles' a medieval street and the Museum gardens. We are within walking distance of York railway station and you could visit London or the seaside on a day trip by train. A short drive to the north is walking country in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
