A converted farmhouse in a very small village on a plateau above the Gorges d'Allier. Comfortable and spacious house with large garden and productive vegetable area. Superb views and great countryside for walking and foraging for mushrooms and wild berries. In bad weather there is plenty of indoor space for table tennis etc and a mini-cinema room with projector and screen and a large collection of dvds. Nearby in one direction is a lake where you can swim (weather permitting) or go fishing, and in the gorge on the river Allier there is also fishing and swimming as well as canoeing and kayaking. Good shopping and entertainment facilities can be found in Le Puy en Velay (30mins by car) and smaller shops in nearby villages.
