Picturesque Somerset Village Property

Our home is a 2 bed mid-terrace house in the beautiful Somerset village of Rode. We have recently renovated the entire house and garden.

The House

Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and family bathroom with bath and walk in shower. One bedroom has a king size bed (5') and the other a standard double (4'6")

Downstairs there is a small characterful lounge with Georgian feature windows. The kitchen / diner has a microwave, integrated washing machine and dishwasher and a modern electric range cooker. There is also a walk in larder and a downstairs cloakroom (toilet & handbasin) off the kitchen.

French doors take you onto a decking area and the rear garden.

The Gardens

The front garden is south facing with a small lawn and patio area with table and chairs.

The back garden has a large decking area with garden sofa and also garden dining table set.

There is a small lawn and further area of decking where we have recently added a garden room / office / gym (also holds the tumble dryer).

There is also a small secluded area with sun-loungers, BBQ, heaters, table etc.

Broadband is available at a speed of approximately 25Mbps.

About the location

Rode is situated 10 miles from the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath and is close to Salisbury (Lonely Planet Top 10 city), Stonehenge, Longleat Safari Park (Centre Parcs), picturesque Bradford-n-Avon and the market town of Frome.

The village has 4 pubs within walking distance, village post office/store/cafe and lovely rural walks. There is a regular and frequent train service to London from Bath and Westbury.
