Our house has panoramic views over Galway Bay and the Burren; it was built less than 3 years ago and has appeared in House magazines it has been entered in this year's House of the Year competition. It sits over 5 levels and is designed to allow the maximum amount of light in. It is warm and cosy yet very airy. We are a few minutes walk from Salthill, a busy seaside resort on the outskirts of vibrant Galway city famous for its culture and craic. We are also at the gateway to beautiful Connemara.
About the location
We live at the end of Salthill. A short coastal walk/cycle or drive brings you into Salthill and from there its 5 minutes to Galway city centre. Galway is a bustling, quirky University town, famous for its culture and great restaurants and bars.
We are 2 hours' drive from Dublin and you can reach almost anywhere in Ireland from our house, within 4 hours.
