About the location

The house is on the edge of the village of Southbourne, one mile east of Emsworth. It is an easy ten minute walk down through Prinsted village to the harbour, with its harbour-side walks in either direction.
Chichester, with its cathedral, Festival Theatre and Pallant House Art Gallery, shops and restaurants is 6 miles away. Other attractions include the South Downs National Park, Hayling Island, the Roman palace at Fishbourne, the Weald and Downland museum at Singleton, Stansted House and park, Goodwood, Petworth House and Uppark House. Portsmouth, with its historic ships, is easy to get to. Regular buses to Emsworth, Havant, Portsmouth or to Chichester stop at the end of the road (5 minutes walk) and the Southbourne train station is 7 minutes walk away.
