Two-floor apartment on beautiful historic avenue 9 mins from Victoria
Our two-floor maisonette apartment sits in a 1950s block on Camberwell Grove, one of the most architecturally beautiful streets in London. The flat is about 85 sq m and has a patio leading out on to a larger tree-shaded communal garden. We are 6 minutes' walk from Denmark Hill station, with trains to Victoria in 9 minutes and a wide variety of other destinations (it is also on the Overground). There are plentiful bus routes nearby. The accommodation comprises one master double bedroom overlooking the garden and two smaller bedrooms overlooking the Grove, one children's with a bunk bed (big enough to accommodate adults) and one with a cot and comfortable double sofa bed. It has a modern kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine and the apartment is in good condition, though the bathroom is quite small and the shower is a bit paltry (it is on our to-do list!) though it does the job. The flat could accommodate six people but might be more comfortable with four. Parking is restricted immediately outside but there is free parking on a street 2 minutes' walk away - however you don't really need a car here.
About the location
Camberwell is a bustling, colourful neighbourhood with lots of good eateries, cafes and pubs and plentiful bus routes along the high street. We are 5-10 minutes walk up Camberwell Grove in a quieter and leafier area.
