Our home is a semi-detached property on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells, about a mile from the town centre and a few minutes' walk from a bus stop. There is footpath 100 yds from the front door that leads to open country. There is off-road parking for two car.

There are three bedrooms and a bathroom with shower over bath.

About the location

Our house is on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells with footpaths close by into the open Sussex countryside.

We are about a mile from the centre of Tunbridge Wells, which has an abundance of cafes and restaurants, two theatres, swimming pool, sports centre, multi-screen cinema and is home to the historic Pantiles and a large Common. The Royal Victoria Place shopping centre provides Mall shopping. The town has several golf courses nearby, and indoor and outdoor rock climbing opportunities within a short drive. There is a artificial ski slope about 15 minutes' drive away.

The Sussex coastal towns of Eastbourne and Hastings are both approximately a 40-minute drive and the town has a direct rail link to London and Hastings (both approx. 50 minutes).

Within easy driving distance are the historic castles of Scotney, Hever (once a home of Anne Boleyn) and Bodiam with Leeds Castle a little further afield. Also close by are Ashdown Forest (of Winnie the Pooh fame) and Chartwell - the home of Sir Winston Churchill.
