Dunvegan

Our home was built in 1892 and is one of the original buildings in the large village of Dufftown. We presently run it as a Bed and Breakfast (but don't worry you will not be expected to look after other guests). It has 2 double en-suite rooms and 2 twin beds. It has an open fire in the lounge, with another lounge and dining room and kitchen on the ground floor.

About the location

Dufftown is known world wide as the "Malt Whisky Capital" being home to 7 distilleries, 2 of which, Glenfiddich and Balvenie, are open to the public. There are many more distilleries in the surrounding area that are open to the public, Aberlour, Macallan, Glenlivet and Strathisla to mention only a few. The village is close to the Cairngorm National Park and surrounded by stunning countryside. Dufftown is also only a short drive from the coast of the Moray Firth where if you are lucky you might even see a dolphin or 2.
