Family home ideal for Edinburgh Christmas and New year 2015-2016

This heritage city boast some of the grandest and most spectacular array of architecture and culture including museums, art galleries, and the majestic Edinburgh castle, Holyrood Palace and Royal Mile. A city of delights that embraces the Christmas feel by hosting the famous German Christmas markets, open air ice rink, and a Christmas fun fair. Edinburgh is a city of culture, enjoy visits to the Pantomime, Theatre plays and music galore. Hogmanay (New Year) is the true Scottish festival, with spectacular fireworks set against the magical back drop of the Castle Rock and a world famous street party. Edinburgh in December is a vibrant, Christmas holiday destination. Great fun for all the family.

Our home has one master bedroom and two childrens bedrooms with bunk beds in each and a fold out double bed in the upstairs study which has an en suite shower room and roof terrace. Downstairs there is also the main bathroom. Our livingroom has a huge library of books and digital entertainment, smart TV, PS4 and an open gas fire and space for a Christmas Tree. We have a kitchen dining room fully equipped with American style Fridge/Freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a tumble dryer. The house has gas central heating and is very cosy and warm in Winter. Internet wifi available.

About the location

We live in the delightful area of South Morningside. Close to many bus routes into Edinburgh city centre and walking distance to the shops and bars, including the famous Canny Man pub just 10 mins walk away. Also close is the Braid burn valley and the Hermitage, both lovely walking destinations.
