Victorian terraced house - Lake District

We have a Victorian terraced house on a no through road in Kendal, close to town, station, park and countryside. Good for public transport. Downstairs is a dining room, lounge with wood burner and kitchen diner. Upstairs are three bedrooms (2 double/1 single) and a bathroom. The third large attic bedroom includes a nice picture window with views across the town and into the fells. (Please note the double in the loft room has a low bed under the eaves). There is a lovely small back garden that faces west to catch the evening sun. Parking is on the street.
PS We are happy to have a dog in our house but not cats as Phil is very allergic to them.

About the location

This is of course the English Lake District but the area offers a lot more. Kendal is also as close ( 20 mins) to the Yorkshire Dales as it is to Ambleside. The coast is nearby too and Manchester, Liverpool and Edinburgh are within straightforward train rides.

Kendal itself is a picturesque market town which can serve as a base for many trips and yet is a destination in its own right.
