Quiet Courtyard Flat in bustling Kreuzberg

With high ceilings, original wooden floors and a balcony looking out onto the green courtyard, my first floor flat is airy, light and peaceful. Located around the corner from the canal and surrounded by great restaurants, cafés, bars and shops, its courtyard location is a peaceful haven away from the bustle outside. It's completely protected from traffic and street noise. In fact, the only noise that will wake you is birdsong and church bells. The building is turn of the century and has retained many of its original features. The windows were recently replaced, making the flat even quieter, and warmer in winter and cooler in summer.

About the location

Kreuzkölln has blossomed in recent years and has a growing selection of great cafés, bars and excellent restaurants. My flat is a 1-minute walk from the underground (U8), there is a selection of supermarkets and other amenities nearby and a great bakery around the corner. The canal path is a great place for jogging or taking an evening stroll and you can get to the centre of the city (Mitte) in less than 10 minutes.
