Quaint, cosy little cottage in the rural end of Chesham town. The lounge has a very well done imitation fire, which can easily be switched on and off. Sky TV and gaming device. There are also some fish to look after.

The kitchen/diner has a large oak table with expanding leaves if required. There is a dishwasher, washing machine and a tumble dryer, and a fridge freezer.

The garden is sheltered and well maintained with a reasonable size lawn, decking, a table tennis table and bikes in the shed. There is an outdoor table and chairs on the patio for eating outside.

The 2 main bedrooms are sizeable, the master bedroom has ample storage with 3 wardrobes.
Car parking is available all day and safe.

About the location

Chesham is a historic market town located on the end of the metropolitan line, so within easy access of London, 30 mins on a fast train to Baker Street.

The chess valley, through which Latimer Rd runs, is stunning countryside, great for walks or picnics.

Opposite the house is a waterfall and stream as well as 2 large fishing lakes. Behind the house are 2 farms with lovely walks up to Ley Hill there are 2 lovely pubs where Brad Pitt stopped by to have a drink whilst filming in the area.

Five minutes walk from the house is an open air swimming pool, gym and tennis court.
In the town is a very reputable Thai restaurant and a very good Indian restaurant as well as shops and cafes and a large park and theatre. Close by is Berkhampstead, with a fabulously restored Art Deco cinema and some great vintage shops.
