1870's stone Victorian house

This is a stone Victorian, semi-detached house. It was built in 1870 and is decorated in an English Country style.

The living room is large and comfortable, equipped with a Sony smart TV and 3D blu-ray player and a Bose bluetooth speaker. There is a large collection of DVDs and Blurays. A huge pine bookcase holds books.

There are 2 bedrooms, the master has a kingsize iron bed. The second bedroom is a sunny single. The bathroom has a rolltop bath.

At the back of the house is a South facing conservatory dining room. The kitchen is well designed with a Gaggia coffee machine, Kitchenaid, gas hob and electric oven. There is a separate utility room with a miele washing machine.

The rooms are very spacious and there is a large, square garden at the back with lawns, mature trees, flowering plants and a summerhouse (grown-up Wendy House!). There are plenty of areas for sitting, including the lovely patio.

We have a beautiful pedigree Maine Coon cat.

About the location

Our house is in Hove Edge, which is a quiet, residential area of Brighouse in West Yorkshire. The area is semi-rural. We have both cities and countryside almost on the doorstep, giving a huge choice of things to do and see. Yorkshire is brimming everything from countryside to cities and all things inbetween. It's a wonderful place to live or visit.

There is an excellent choice of Country pubs in walking distance from the house, good cafes, shops and takeaways nearby and a wide variety of restaurants in Brighouse and the surrounding areas.
