A terraced cottage in converted farm buildings in a village with its own castle just outside Oswestry in Shropshire - the only town in England to have a Welsh bookshop apparently.
For those who like English countryside with a twist - black & white cows in the field opposite, notices in Welsh & English, Llangollen/ Snowdonia 10 miles away & lots of pretty border towns & villages to explore/ undulating hills to walk in.
You may be visited by next door but one's cats, Bob & Enid , who are very interested in who lives here.
About the location
Welsh/ English border country - lots of hills, sheep, good walking, lovely scenery. Canals to visit including the UNESCO world heritage acqueduct at Pontyscyllite, iron age hill forts, canoeing, mining heritage etc etc
